Saturday Night

Saturday night turned out to be pretty awful. The guys and I just hung out at my place drinking for a while, until I caught a text from a girl I met online. She asked if we wanted to come down to party with her and her friends downtown. We agreed and drove down. The place was so packed it took us a half hour to get in. Once we were in, getting a drink turned out to be the hardest thing since running a 3 minute mile. We met up with the girl..who turned out to be a little chubbier than I had imagined..and told her we wanted to go elsewhere to get our drinks. Normally I would have just ditched, but her friends were worthy of sticking around. We went next door, got a few beers and the wait began. A half our of us drinking and twiddling thumbs made me text her: "We've waited for a half hour, but I think we're going to take off now. Nice talking to you though"....no response. We took off and drove home. I got a text from the Friday Night girl...let's call her E. "Are you awake?" ..."Yes" I responded. "Can I see you? I kind of like you". Uh oh...booty call starts catching feelings, big red flag. I might have to break it off so nobody gets hurt. She came over anyways, but I opted out of any sexual contact and just went to sleep next to my coke and rum. What a failure of a night.

Friday Night

The Day after Christmas was casual. My friend Tommy and I met up with a couple of girls and went downtown for some drinking. We tried to get Tommy hooked up with the girl that liked me, but didn't look like she was very interested. I wanted a change in flavor, but it definitely wasn't happening tonight. We drank a bit, danced very little, and then headed to my house. Tommy passed out on the couch. One of the two girls that was with us passed out on the other couch next to him. And I made my way to my room downstairs with the girl that's interested in me. It was a repeat girl, but a lay none the less.

Merry Christmas

Christmas 2008 is here....and I had a hell of a Christmas Eve. I went to some family gathering and nearly died driving back in the snow. When I got back, my roommate and his family had quite the party going on. Plenty of booze, food, and holiday cheer. We all got completely smashed. Singing, dancing, and laughing until 3am. Happy Holidays!

Snowed In

Now that I had only an hour a sleep because of my Sunday night activities, it was time to go to work Monday morning. I woke up nude with last night's lady in my bed. I showered, dressed, brushed my teeth, and drank my coffee..just to see a foot and a half of snow on the ground outside of my garage. No way my car is getting out. I called my co-worker and he said he wouldn't be making it either. So I got on my work e-mail...no one else was coming in. So I put in my e-mail that my co-worker and I wouldn't be making it as well. "Thank God!" I thought...after one hour of sleep. I went downstairs, scoot back in with last night's girl, and closed my eyes.

Single Life...

After my last relationship failed, the single life has been pretty good to me...a good example was Sunday night. A past booty call from years ago called me from a random number...I answered:
Her: "What's up?!"
Me: "Who is this?"
Her: "Tonna!!"
Me: "Oh shit, What's up?"
She explained that her and her friend are looking for a place to drink on a Sunday night...and wanted to know if we would drink with them. I told them I have a roommate that is available and we invited them over for a few beers. So two random girls come over and started drinking with us. Her friend turned out to be a 21 year old Safeway employee. I immediately pissed off Tonna because I was no longer interested in her...and was interested in her friend. Her friend was older, and a little more attractive. She was blonde and seemed to be curvy in the right places. In talking to her, she seemed like had been through a lot in her life, as well as having made some bad decisions. She wasn't the attractive, date-type for me, but could be a screw buddy or friend. My roommate went to bed, and Tonna...knowing I wasn't interested in sleeping with her again...asked me where his room was. I told her, and she left immediately, leaving her friend and I in my room alone. I layed down and she pursued. We had some make out action for quite a few hours...until 4am...and keep in mind I have to work Monday. I knew that because of the snow, there was always the chance I could blame the weather for the reason I wouldn't make it in. This was definitely worth it. We continued in the positive direction until eventually we had sex....it was 6 in the morning and time to go to bed.

Saturday....

So on Saturday I woke up and read my ridiculously asshole-like text to the girl Liz that I met the night before. I tried texting her for a recovery: "Lol, sorry, I text you then went to sleep". No response...maybe she was asleep still? We did stay out late. I remember her being decently attractive and she was a physical therapist, so at least she has a good head on her shoulders...I wouldn't mind seeing her again. Later I found out I had left my I.D. in the car I rode home in. In the midst of the groping and kissing....it had fallen out of my pocket. "Great..." I thought...knowing I will have to call Liz even if she doesn't want to ever see me again, just so I can get my I.D. back. Life without an I.D. is hell, and so is the department of licensing to get a new one. I waited until later in the day in which I knew she would be awake..and tried a phone call....no answer. I didn't leave a voicemail...so I just text her. "Hey Liz, when you get a chance can you ask your friend if I left my I.D. in her car?". No response...possibly just not by her phone, or possibly just to show she wasn't ignoring my phone call, and posing like she wasn't by her phone..you tell me.

My roommate Eduardo was flying his family in for the holidays today...so we wanted to keep the amount of company we had at a minimum, and keep the house nice for a first impression. This meant when it got later, we were going to go out again instead of stay at the house. We went to my friend James' house and decided to play poker with our livers instead of money. This meant we would bet shots instead of cash. Our friend Mike drove Steve and I there since he had a Jeep and it was snowing. We got there and watched the Saturday night game while playing our liver poker. I was really drunk by the time I got the next text from Liz: "Sure, I'll ask around!" in response to my text about losing my I.D. I didn't see the text until hours after she text it to me, so I responded with "What are you up to tonight?"...no response. So my trains of thought are - A: She was drunk on Friday and wants nothing to do with me. Or B: Remember she doesn't stay by her phone all the time, she leaves it at home and doesn't live by the thing. By the time she gets back to her phone, she sees the text was sent hours ago and doesn't bother responding. I of course always am going to believe option A first...she probably thinks I'm just some young asshole that just wants to get laid. I have been surprised by women in the past though, because sometimes they are just not big phone people, but really are interested. Only time will tell.

Friday Night

Well after taking most of the week off for snow...it was time to enjoy the weekend. Friday night started with two of my good friends, Steve, Tommy and I cabbing to a little known spot in my town called McCabe's. We met up with a couple of friends there, Pete and Tai. Pete was accompanied with his wife Kerry and she had brought with her three of her girlfriends. One married, one cute, and one disgruntled. They were all around 28 or 29. The married one was apparently known for stepping out of the marriage and had some fake breasts. Tommy bought rounds of Tequila and was including her in these rounds. I clued him in that she would be a waste of money, since she was married. He stopped buying the shots, but surely didn't stop talking to her. The guys bought a few pitchers of beer and we drank those down with the shots of Tequila while small talking with this group of girls. After I got a few in me, I got bold and ripped the "cute" one off her stool and onto the dance floor with me. We danced and drank the rest of the night together while making out on our bar stools. We exchanged phone numbers and said she left her phone at home. I thought "wow, no girls leave their phones at home". She just didn't seem like the type to take her phone everywhere she went. She went by just "Liz".

The night got late and the guys took off to the house after the girls offered to give me a ride there after we left. So I left the bar with a car full of girls back to my house. On the way back, Liz and I sat in the back..drunkingly groping and kissing. I told her she should stay over and not risk the bad weather snow on the way back to her house. She agreed, but when we got to the house, she changed her mind. The "married" friend got mad about something and the two sat alone talking to in private. I was patient until I heard Liz tell say to the "married" one that she was going to ride with her so they can talk on the way home, or something to that extent. This meant I wouldn't be spending time with her, and in my drunken state that pissed me off. This meant sleep sounded a lot better than standing around waiting for the girls to leave. I went downstairs and passed out. Apparently, after I had gone to sleep, she had tried to come knock on my door, but she was just doing so to say goodbye, not stay. (Or at least that's what I keep telling myself).

When I woke up in the morning, I looked at my texts on my phone:

Me: "Well so much for your promise to stay, real truthful"
Liz: (An hour later after she got home and back to her phone) "Well where the hell did you go"

Ugh....I must have sounded like an asshole..no way she is going to want to see me again.

Snow, Snow, Snow....

Once every 5 years or so, we get a shitload of snow here in Seattle. Let's get one thing straight...I HATE the snow. Don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous, but extremely annoying. Not getting to work = no money for that day. Good if you wanted the day off anyways, bad if you wanted the money instead. My car is a small sport coupe, it's not made for the snow. It has low-profile tires and a lot of low-end torque. The smallest bit of gas has me spinning out all over the place. Thank you Volkswagen, for your turbo-charged, pain-in-the-ass. Granted, had I not stayed home from work today, I probably wouldn't have been bored enough to start my own blog. I guess everything happens for a reason. I'm dreaming of a clear Christmas...

First Post

Here's the first post....Why start a blog you ask? I believe it's more of a personal journal, that others can read. It will be nice to look back on archived posts and access the memory banks of previous occasions and fun times.
