Barista Pickup

So I was at Safeway today, and saw a gorgeous barista...wow she was cute. I spit a little game at her, asking about her plans for the labor day weekend and whatnot. She seemed real positive responding to my game, but I left because she had some customers.





After I left, I had a huge regret not just asking her out. I was already driving way down the road, so it's too late to turn around. So I got my phone out, googled the number for the Safeway, then called and asked for the Starbucks.





Barista:"This is Danielle"

Me: "That's your name"

Barista: "Who's this?"

Me: "The blonde guy you talked to a second ago"

Barista: "Oh hey!"

Me: "I just realized I didn't get your name on my way out when I was in a hurry"

Barista: "Well now you have it."

Me: "I was wondering if when you are feeling better I could take you to dinner?"

Barista: "I'd love that."

Me: "OK, give me your number."

Barista: (gives number)

Me: "Ok then, I'll call you later and set it up"

Barista: "Great."

(We hang up)



She seemed generally enthusiastic. I am going to give her a call in the next few days and try to get that dinner date going. This girl is really cute, I mean, girlfriend/dating type cute, which is my highest standard of looks. I could definitely walk around with her on my arm.
